Katie & David's wedding at Chief Hosa Lodge
One of this weekend's weddings was Katie and David's wedding at Chief Hosa Lodge in the foothills West of Denver. The day started out a little overcast and ended with a few strong snow showers by the end of the night. This was truly a great day. Everything went like clockwork! Hair and makeup was done by Rachael owner of Girls and Curls. www.girlsandcurls.com. The catering was by Carte d' Or. Holly and the others were awesome!! Cartedorcatering.com. This was one of those weddings that the couple did most of the work and it truly showed! Katie and her bridesmaids did all of their own flowers and and arrangements. And I have to say they looked as professional as any I have seen in all of my years of shooting weddings! I heard that a few of the guests from Texas had never seen snow! Well, they got a taste of Colorado in December. During the reception a strong snow shower started and they wanted shots of them in the snow to show their friends back in Texas. I'm sure they will get some mileage out of those.
Enjoy!

Jennifer & Brandon's wedding at Pax Christi & The Sanctuary
One of last weekends weddings was at Pax Christi Catholic Church in Highlands Ranch, CO and the reception was at The Sanctuary. We had beautiful weather, although a bit chilly for the sunset shots. The day started at Jennifer's parents house for some getting ready candid's and a quick game of air hockey. Then I was off to Pax Christi to meet up with Brandon and his groom's men. due to sunset being so early this time of year we didn't spend too much time after the ceremony shooting inside. We were in a hurry to get to The Sanctuary for some outdoor portraits with families, wedding party and Jennifer and Brandon's portraits. We had a great sunset! The Sanctuary had just put up all of the holiday decoration and it looks great! Enjoy the images!

Heather & Jon's wedding in Parker CO
Friday afternoon it was my pleasure working with Heather and Jon. They had a small, intimate ceremony at the Ruth Memorial Chapel on Main Street in Parker Colorado. They arrived in a 1928 Ford Model A!!
We did all of the family portraits inside the chapel then some group shots on the steps outside. It was a beautiful November day. With the sun so low in the Southern sky it was challenging to shoot facing south as the sun came around the back of the chapel. Then we spent some time around sunset shooting the wedding party and Heather and Jon's portraits. I love the historic feel of this wedding. Enjoy some samples.

Katie & Jeremy's wedding at Our Lady of Loreto and The Sanctuary
I had a first this weekend! In all of the years of photographing weddings and portrait shoots I have never had a couple have a snowball fight! On Saturday, Katie and Jeremy had their wedding ceremony at Our Lady of Loreto Church in Foxfield, CO. Then we were off to The Sanctuary in Sedalia, CO for the snowy reception. The day started off overcast and by the end of the reception there was a good 6 inches of snow. Everyone had a great time with the weather. I love the images of the wedding party standing out on the #1 tee box and the night images in the snow. Enjoy!
