Heather & Jon's wedding in Parker CO

Friday afternoon it was my pleasure working with Heather and Jon. They had a small, intimate ceremony at the Ruth Memorial Chapel on Main Street in Parker Colorado. They arrived in a 1928 Ford Model A!!

We did all of the family portraits inside the chapel then some group shots on the steps outside. It was a beautiful November day. With the sun so low in the Southern sky it was challenging to shoot facing south as the sun came around the back of the chapel. Then we spent some time around sunset shooting the wedding party and Heather and Jon's portraits. I love the historic feel of this wedding. Enjoy some samples.

Katie & Jeremy's wedding at Our Lady of Loreto and The Sanctuary

I had a first this weekend! In all of the years of photographing weddings and portrait shoots I have never had a couple have a snowball fight! On Saturday, Katie and Jeremy had their wedding ceremony at Our Lady of Loreto Church in Foxfield, CO. Then we were off to The Sanctuary in Sedalia, CO for the snowy reception. The day started off overcast and by the end of the reception there was a good 6 inches of snow. Everyone had a great time with the weather. I love the images of the wedding party standing out on the #1 tee box and the night images in the snow. Enjoy!

Phipps Mansion & Tennis Pavillion

Along with photographing all of the DU venues, I have been working closely with The Phipps Conference Center on updating images of the Phipps Mansion and Phipps Tennis Pavillion. The Phipps Conference Center is owned by the University of Denver. Both venues are great for weddings and receptions. For more information call Phipps at 303.871.3442 or email Whitney @ WJones41@du.edu

Here are a few images of some of the rooms in the mansion.

Here is a link to the Phipps portfolio album that we have designed and will be on display at the Phipps mansion.

University of Denver

Over the past month The University of Denver and I have been working together to photograph every wedding, meeting and event venue on campus. As a Colorado native and someone has has been on the DU campus many times I was surprised at how many different venues they have. From meeting rooms to accomodate small groups to large auditoriums that will holds many hundreds of people to the elegant Gottesfeld and Burns sites. And one of my favorites the Evans Chapel, right in the middle of the campus. Here are a few images. Enjoy!

If you are interested in more information on a venue at DU please contact www.du.edu/events/weddings.html

Another Family Portrait Shoot

A couple of weeks ago I did a family portrait shoot for the Coleman family in Cherry Hills Village. We had great light and weather for our late afternoon shoot. Enjoy a few images.
