Your wedding story is the culmination of two lives coming together. Each bride and groom has chosen to trust each other with marriage, a very critical life decision. The wedding is a celebration of this trust. Once the wedding is over, the food and decorations are gone and the wedding day is a memory.
So a beautifully photographed wedding can be a way to relive the wedding day. With this in mind it is important to understand that photographing a wedding is a very skilled and technically demanding task. Professional photographers such as myself are very seasoned and prepared to capture your wedding memories. Sometimes couples elect to hire an amateur for a couple of hundred dollars or give the job to a uncle who has a good camera. A quality camera does not ensure that quality photographs can be taken.
I hear too often of couples who tell me that they regret letting a friend or amateur photograph their wedding. Your wedding happens once in a lifetime. For me, weddings happen nearly every Saturday beginning May through October and have since 1995. Photography is a craft, art, and passion of mine and I take pride in making sure your wedding story is carefully captured. As a photographer I am constantly thinking 3 steps ahead during every moment of a wedding.
Lighting conditions, events, composition opportunities, interactions on a wedding day change quickly. A good camera cannot just take over and capture these fleeting moments accurately. A trained and seasoned wedding professional can.
