Nicole & Chip's Colorado Wedding

Greetings, this weekend I shot Nicole and Chip's wedding at St. Francis of Assisi in Castle Rock, Colorado and they held the reception at the spectacular Sanctuary Golf Course in Sedalia, Colorado.

The wedding was 2 days after the blizzard. Fortunately, the sun came out on Friday and melted much of the snow. Saturday was beautiful with temps in the 50's. Shooting outside in the middle of the day was a challenge. I had a studio light and the battery pack with me for the outdoor shots. For the wedding party shots at The Sanctuary we had to go with plan B and shoot on the west side of the terrace. The pavilion area was still covered in a snow drift. The studio light came in very handy as I needed to throw a lot of light on the wedding party and families due to the fact that I had to shoot directly into the sun. The images came out great. After dinner I grabbed Nicole and Chip to head back outside for a few sunset portraits. During the reception the guests danced until the very end. Nicole and Chip headed off to Costa Rica for their honeymoon on Sunday night. Upon their return I will have their DVD ready for our viewing meeting in Bowers Photographics viewing room. Enjoy!
